A few weeks ago, Todd was heading out to his weekly men’s bible study group and had to take a side dish. They were grilling all the meats or some such shenanigans and all the guys were asked to bring along something to go with said meats. When Todd ended up having to work right up until time to leave for his group, I offered to throw something together.
This is the dish that happened. I may have gotten lots of text messages and IG dings throughout their evening singing its praises and requests the next day for the recipe.
Since then I’ve made it for all of my personal chef clients to rave reviews. Now that it’s been thoroughly tested, I thought I would let you all in on the recipe secrets. This would make a fantastic Thanksgiving side dish, by the way. Perfectly charred brussels sprouts, smoked bacon andsmokey caramelized onions – HELLO WHAT ELSE COULD YOU WANT IN A SIDE DISH?
It’s about as perfect as it gets.
There is a printable recipe below. Let me know when you make this and tell me what you think! I would love to see pictures of all the brussels sprouts on Thanksgiving Day on the Instagram! {be sure to tag us so we can see!}
